Tokyo, December 17, 2024 – ZIPAIR Tokyo has announced the launch of the new souvenir service “AKIBA ZIP” for ZIPAIR passengers.
Up until now, souvenirs sold by ZIPAIR could only be purchased and confirmed on the optional service selection screen, but the new dedicated souvenir service website “AKIBA ZIP” will make it easier to see the list of products sold. From March 2025 onward, customers will be able to purchase souvenirs directly from this site. In addition to food products, such as wagyu beef, rice, and beauty products, which have been well received by customers through in-flight sales, ZIPAIR will continue to expand the product lineup to meet the needs of customers. Customers can receive their purchased souvenirs while on board a flight or at the baggage carousel in the arrival airport without having to carry them around and pack them. ZIPAIR aims to provide a stress-free souvenir experience for inbound tourists who want to make the most of their stay in Japan, as well as for customers who are bringing back Japanese souvenirs overseas. 【How to use the service】 By purchasing the goods on the optional service selection page by the available order time specified for each item, customers would be able to receive it on board or at the arrival airport. ・Pickup while on board Eligible flights: Available on all flights operated by ZIPAIR. ※Cabin crew will bring your items to your seat. The exact time or timing cannot be specified.
・Pickup at the Baggage Carousel in the Arrival Airport Eligible flights: Available on flights departing from Narita Airport operated by ZIPAIR. ※For security reasons, passengers on board U.S. bound flights are required to pick up their purchased items at the JAL ABC counter on the 4th floor of the North Wing of Narita Airport Terminal 1 at least one hour prior to departure, and drop it off at the ZIPAIR check-in counter as check-in baggage. ※This service is not available for international transfer flights at Narita Airport.
