ZIPAIR to Launch Inaugural Flight between Tokyo Narita and San Francisco International Airport on June 2, 2023

Tokyo, April 7, 2023 – ZIPAIR Tokyo announced its much anticipated decision to launch flights between Tokyo Narita and San Francisco International Airport on June 2 with ticket sales opening today at 12:00 Japan Standard Time. The service to San Francisco will become the carrier`s third route across the Pacific, following Los Angeles and San José Mineta International Airport. ZIPAIR operates the highly efficient Boeing 787-8 aircraft on its international routes and will initially offer five flights per week between Tokyo Narita and San Francisco. The carrier`s unique business model provides seasoned and new travelers a convenient low-cost option, allowing more people to connect between the U.S. and Asia. The city of San Francisco boasts one of the most iconic attractions in the world and is among the most culturally diverse destinations known for its exquisite art, cuisines, museums, and sporting events.
